AfroHealthLink encourages three types of discussions around medical conditions:  1. Patient – Patient Discussions:  Also referred to as the general discussion will enable patients find how other people with similar background and medical condition are facing and solving their challenges in the district. Healthcare providers are also encouraged to chime in on these discussions to give a more accurate perspective.  2. Patient – Provider Discussions: this will be a forum where patients can ask providers questions regarding approaches to managing their medical conditions. Only the patient / consumer that poses this question will be able to see the answers and this will be located in their HealthInfo Page.  3. Provider – Provider Discussions: Providers can share insights on how best to manage their patients of African Descent with certain medical conditions. They can share images and labs if they choose but must maintain patient confidentiality.  View Less-
